Evergreen Homes had the perfect floor plan for us. I felt overwhelmed at the thought of making all the decisions for our finishes and colors, but Tama’s involvement reassured me, as I trust her instincts and appreciate her honesty. We enjoyed the selections process at the showroom and loved working with Tama and Shawn to complete the interior so beautifully and affordably. We are so grateful for our new home and that it was such a pleasure and so fun working with all of you. Sterling was wonderful in managing the team of craftsmen who built our home. He spent a good amount of time with us during an early visit to understand what was important to us.
He then went out of his way to ensure every detail we wanted was simply perfect. Evergreen Homes has done an excellent job building our new home! They worked with us during the challenging time of the pandemic, sharply increasing lumber and materials costs and so forth. They really went above and beyond to give us updates, answered every email and kept in touch throughout the entire building process. They have a lot of local resources and contacts that they were able to refer us to.
We lived in eastern Oregon but wanted to move closer to Portland and family, we checked out many builders but from the first contact with Evergreen they were superior. We were very specific in what we wanted in our home and had looked at many floor plans but couldn’t find the exact one we wanted. Working with Chris Sundstrom and his architect/designer, Tama, we were able to incorporate all the features we wanted in a design that perfectly fit our needs.

He incorporated everything we wanted and quite a few things we had not even thought about. We were living in Maryland throughout the entire design and build process, yet Chris, Sterling, Linda, Tama, and Lisa made it feel like we were just down the street. Through their outstanding communication, doing a long-distance build was not an issue.
We wanted a builder who really delivered outstanding design, quality, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and value. Evergreen has exceeded our expectations on each of our five criteria. The quality of the materials that went into our home matches the quality of the work. We found true craftsmanship and attention to detail in nearly every facet of our home.

Quality and service are their two main priorities when building your home. Nick was our project manager and was always available and responsive to our questions and needs. We moved in just before the Covid issues shut down the building process. Having our new home during these trying times has made our life so enjoyable.
We found Evergreen Homes by driving around and looking at all of the homes in our area. Our family wanted something more custom with an RV garage. There are not a lot of homes that have this option with other builders. When we met with Chris all of our needs in a home were met with what his team has to offer. We have now been in our home over a year, and we could not be happier.
Most homeowners probably don’t give a second thought to the work done by the framers as their work gets covered up. We have natural wood doors, windows, and millwork so you cannot mask mistakes with caulk. From excavation to final finish – everything is amazing, and we greatly appreciate the hard work all the trades put into building our dream home. Our custom design started as a sketch Chris made on a yellow pad while sitting with us on a log on our property.
Evergreen Homes NW delivered as promised and on time. From the first meeting to the final walk thru we experienced excellent customer service and transparency, with responsiveness to warranty issues to addressing and resolving all concerns. I can’t imagine doing a project like this with a builder other than Evergreen Homes. Their reputation speaks for itself and once you walk into one of their custom homes, you will understand what makes them so special.
