WE LOVE IT. The house is very comfortable and efficient. Sterling was our foreman; he was so attentive and really a pleasure to work with. After sitting down and determining our objectives, Tama designed a lovely home that really met our needs. Despite our frustration with the county requirements and the time delays, the building process otherwise went very well. We have never built a home before, and we learned a lot and enjoyed it. Evergreene Homes is a privately owned company founded by industry veterans with the vision of making the homebuilding process more personalized and enjoyable for all involved.

He incorporated everything we wanted and quite a few things we had not even thought about. We were living in Maryland throughout the entire design and build process, yet Chris, Sterling, Linda, Tama, and Lisa made it feel like we were just down the street. We found Evergreen Homes by driving around and looking at all of the homes in our area. Our family wanted something more custom with an RV garage. There are not a lot of homes that have this option with other builders. When we met with Chris all of our needs in a home were met with what his team has to offer. We have now been in our home over a year, and we could not be happier.
When picking out cabinetry and surfaces, I especially liked their A, B and C level pricing and material options that allowed many options and kept me focused on items in my price range. They worked hard to put together a home package that met our specific needs, desires, and budget. On both occasions we went into the building process knowing exactly what we were getting.

We lived in eastern Oregon but wanted to move closer to Portland and family, we checked out many builders but from the first contact with Evergreen they were superior. We were very specific in what we wanted in our home and had looked at many floor plans but couldn’t find the exact one we wanted. Working with Chris Sundstrom and his architect/designer, Tama, we were able to incorporate all the features we wanted in a design that perfectly fit our needs.
He understands how stressful building a new home can be, and he was absolutely wonderful to work with. We love coming home each day and continue to be impressed with the quality workmanship that is in our home. We got to participate in every design choice and were met with a “can do” attitude whenever we made a change or adjustment. My husband and I consider ourselves very fortunate to have chosen Evergreen Homes as our builder.
